Aquael Fan Filter Sponge for Fan-1 — 2 un.

Description

Aquael Fan Filter Sponge for Fan-1 — 2 units

Ensure optimal filtration for your aquarium with these genuine Aquael Fan Filter sponges designed specifically for the Fan-1 model.

Mechanical and Biological Filtration

These sponge cartridges are crafted from carefully selected, phenol-free sponge material. They excel at mechanical filtration by capturing visible impurities and suspended matter, keeping your aquarium water clear. Simultaneously, they provide an essential substrate for the growth of beneficial nitrifying bacteria, contributing to effective biological filtration and a healthy aquatic environment.

Compatibility and Maintenance

• Specifically designed as a direct replacement for the Aquael Fan-1 filter.
• For peak performance, sponges should be regularly replaced, typically every 2-4 weeks depending on aquarium bioload.
• To preserve beneficial bacteria, clean sponges in old aquarium water (from a water change) rather than tap water.
