A minimum tank size of 190 litres (50 gallons) is recommended. Trachyphyllia thrive in stable water conditions with a temperature of 24-27°C (75-80°F), a pH of 8.1-8.4, and salinity between 1.024-1.026. They prefer low to moderate, indirect water flow and low to moderate lighting (50-150 PAR).

Diet

While photosynthetic, Trachyphyllia corals benefit significantly from regular target feeding 1-3 times per week with meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, or specialized LPS coral foods.
