This two-part epoxy putty is ideal for creating stable rock formations and making repairs in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

D-D AquaScape is a versatile, two-part epoxy putty specifically developed for underwater use in aquariums and ponds. Its unique formulation makes it stickier than many other epoxies, allowing for easier adhesion to wet substrates. The “gris” or grey colour is particularly well-suited for freshwater aquariums and for repairing pond liners, as well as blending naturally with rockwork.

Key Features and Applications:

• Aquascaping: Securely bond live rock to create stable and complex aquascapes. This helps prevent structures from collapsing due to water movement or disturbance from inhabitants like snails or sea urchins.
• Coral Fragging: Prepare and position coral frags, ensuring they remain stable while they heal and attach to their new base.
• Clam Bases: Create secure bases for clams, protecting them from being displaced or attacked by bristle worms.
• Repairs: Effectively repair leaky pipework, broken equipment, or bond items to aquarium glass.
• Pond Maintenance: Suitable for repairing pond liners and general rockwork in ponds.

Performance and Curing:

AquaScape bonds to a variety of materials including wood, brick, cement, metals, concrete, rock, plastic, and glass. It becomes semi-hard within 3-4 hours and fully cures hard overnight. Once cured, it can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, and sanded. Note that it is important to support heavy structures until the putty has set. If the water becomes cloudy during application, discontinue use and allow it to clear.
