As the pump intake is not screened, care should be taken to prevent small aquarium inhabitants from being drawn in. Regular cleaning of the pump, air hose, and connections is recommended to maintain optimal performance and prevent blockages from dirt or salt deposits. Protect the controller from splash water and condensation.
