Seachem Prime 500 ml is a highly concentrated, all-in-one water conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It effectively removes chlorine and chloramine while temporarily detoxifying harmful ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.

Dosage and Usage:

The standard dose for Seachem Prime is 5 mL (one capful) for every 200 liters (50 US gallons) of new water. For smaller volumes, each thread on the cap is approximately 1 mL. It is best to add Prime to replacement water before adding it to the aquarium. If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dose on the aquarium’s total volume.

• Routine Water Changes: Dose for the volume of new water being added.
• Emergency Use: For ammonia or nitrite spikes, up to 5 times the normal dose can be safely used to temporarily detoxify these compounds for 24-48 hours. Re-dose as needed until the biological filter can manage the load.
• High Chloramine: A double dose can be used safely for exceptionally high chloramine concentrations.
• High Temperatures: If the water temperature is above 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.

A 500 mL bottle of Seachem Prime can treat up to 5,000 US gallons when used at the standard dosage. A slight sulfur odor is normal.
