The Singular Bannerfish (*Heniochus singularius*) features a distinctive white body adorned with broad black diagonal bands, a prominent ocular stripe, and a contrasting yellow dorsal and caudal fin. Juveniles display a long, flowing dorsal fin filament, which shortens as they mature, accompanied by the development of a unique hump on the nape. Adults often exhibit a fine reticulated pattern between their bands, adding depth to their appearance.
